Applying Success Strategies

,
Lucid Dreaming Made Easy
Controlling Dreams :

Do you work hard and still feel like you're not getting anywhere? Do you remember a time when you had dreams of doing something great or exciting with your life? At one time in your life, probably as a kid, your dreams were limitless and you thought you could do anything. But then you started having negative references or influences from people around you. Maybe you liked to be creative and loud and your parents would tell you, "Stop that, quiet down, your acting ridiculous." And after being told many times that your behavior was not right, you would bury your feelings and forget, kill a part inside you that was longing to shine.

Applying Success Strategies

Sometimes we had brothers and sisters that told us negative things or put us down. After a while we believed them. Or maybe you had positive influences in your household, but you saw your parents or parent struggle even after working very hard. In your mind you started to think that the reality of life was constant struggle and pain. Some people come from abusive backgrounds, others were orphans, some people even had great fortunate childhoods, but still in their adult life struggle to find their way to make a living.

I am here to tell you, that despite your childhood and upbringing, you can control your present state. You can be wealthy, happy, healthy, and loving. Your reality is only what you determine it is. There is always an example of someone worse off, who has done great things and been successful.

I can give you an example of a friend of mine from Cambodia, who as a little kid watched his parents killed in front of him. He was tortured by the military police and often beaten. He and his brother found a way to escape and were given an opportunity to be adopted by a family in the United States. This person was the most positive person I knew and worked harder than anyone I knew. He had already accomplished having a home and a car when I met him, and I am sure that many years later he is still successful because of his attitude toward life and work. You see somebody always has it worse than you. Our reality of life is only in our heads. Our brains can be our best asset or our biggest enemy.

Success strategies when applied correctly will work for anyone and everyone. I am not saying that you always accomplish your goals on the first try. There are always going to be obstacles and unseen events that nobody can control. What I am saying is that you can have strategies for attacking not only your goals but for handling problems. As long as you are on track reaching toward your goals constantly, you will only see temporary defeat and then bam!

You will always have "problems" or "challenges", only the dead have no problems. But you can handle your problems with a different attitude. That is the key to true success. We have all heard the story of Thomas Alva Edison, who invented the incandescent light bulb. He failed more than a thousand times before he actually got it right. When people asked him how could of he failed so many times, he would simply tell them, "I know that each time I failed it brought me closer to my goal." That statement is powerful, think about it carefully. Each failure will bring you closer to your intention as long as you keep going after a failure. The people that never try will never fail. Those same people will never live life the way they are supposed to.

In life, too many people get caught up in mediocrity, just surviving, paying the bills, feeling frustrated, and hating their jobs. That is a horrible way to live. There is so much out there for you. But you got to get out there and get it. Then once you get hooked on the passion of life, I want you to continue your journey and create the life of your dreams. Your success has nothing to do with your religion, economic background, race, facial features, current job position, or past school grades. Your success has to do with your attitude and the action that you take on a daily basis. In order to determine your actions requires that you learn and apply success strategies that have been applied by others before you.

Online Business As a Means to Fulfillment in Life

,
Lucid Dreaming Made Easy
Controlling Dreams :

Most people are looking for happiness but it has proved to be quite elusive. I know many out there are dreaming of becoming millionaires. Maybe you are thinking of getting that great job, starting a big company, name it but you find that dream far fetched.

Online Business As a Means to Fulfillment in Life

The quest for money or a good career is not easy. But if you can manage to put your ambitions in the right perspective, you will be able to grasp the ever elusive happiness and fulfillment that many search for and never seem to find.

What determines a good career or business? Some of the things that determine whether a business is good is if it will give you more time with you family. It should also be a business you love doing and make you enough money.

Moments of rest and fun must be put into consideration. You will wear out fast if you work without enough rest. A person who enjoys good time in having fun and resting will work effectively and efficiently for long.

What others say long after you have quit working speaks much about the success of your business or career. Building a legacy or a success story that encourages others to try things that have not been done before may be a good indication of a life well lived. This means that your future achievements are controlled by your current decisions.

One thing that is able to guarantee financial freedom and achievement of all of the above is online business. Testimonies exist of individuals who have become millionaires overnight from conducting businesses like multilevel and affiliate marketing.

The Universe Works If You Get Out of the Way

,
Lucid Dreaming Made Easy
Controlling Dreams :

Sometimes, things just go our way. We get the job we have been dreaming of, an unexpected check comes in the mail, or things just seem to effortlessly fall into place for no apparent reason. We call it luck or attribute it to simply having a good day, but in truth, we have been given a glimpse of the actual nature of the universe.

The Universe Works If You Get Out of the Way

We tend to think the timing was right, never realizing that we are an innate part of the process. We are not random recipients of bounty. If only for the moment, our state of being pulls to us this divine experience of synchronicity. There is rhyme and reason to the way the universe unfolds. When we are "in the flow," we have released the illusion that we can protect ourselves by being in control. We have gotten out of the way long enough to experience how effortlessly this process takes place. We must be willing to stop pushing and allow the universe to send us the things we truly need rather than what we keep asking for.

When a bird looks for food, it makes an implicit assumption that it will find the worm and all will be okay. It does not get up and start thinking "What if I can't find food? What will happen to me?" It does not anticipate that there will be a problem. There is an ease with which it moves through its day, an underlying instinct that is minutely in keeping with life's basic nature. It does not think anything. Its being trusts that all will be provided for, and it does not question how.

To be in that state is to observe the precise timing in which all things fall into place and to simultaneously marvel at the exquisite manifestations of an ever changing universe. When we are fortunate enough to have an experience of this wholeness, we are filled with humility and compassion. We never know when we will be the recipients of such grace - that is part of the wonder.

I never thought a trip to the corner drugstore would deliver such an experience. I had gone there for the sole purpose of buying mascara and found myself wheeling the cart up and down each aisle looking for what else I could buy. On a top shelf, I spotted a box with a picture of a green birdfeeder. I liked the green color, but knew the last thing I needed was another birdfeeder. One had been hanging on my balcony for the past year. It had taken the doves close to three months to find it, but now they came every day. I looked at the box again and put it into my cart. I started to think about why I was purchasing it, and stopped myself. I was just going to buy it, and that was it.

Purchases in hand, I walked through my front door and headed out toward the balcony. There, lying on the ground, was the birdfeeder. My heart stopped. It looked like the wire that had been holding it had snapped. All I could do was stare at the broken feeder. A sense of wonder and wholeness filled my being. I felt disoriented, out of time and space, and yet at the same time I knew exactly where I was. I was 100 percent present. I could feel the intricacy of the process, every tiny little piece falling into place. Feeling it work, I intuitively knew that the birdfeeder had fallen the moment I had opened the door!

The universe operates with speed and efficiency in direct relation to our degree of trust. When we feel stuck, we need to get out of our own way. This does not mean that we simply sit back and do nothing, but rather that we know when to let go, when we have done enough. When we move through the world knowing that we will be provided for, magic happens.

Getting Rid of Clutter - Is It Possible? Could It Really Be Painless?

,
Lucid Dreaming Made Easy
Controlling Dreams :

Getting rid of clutter can seem like a never-ending battle. Just when you think you've got things under control, out squirts another basket of unclaimed laundry, school books, old mail, and papers no one wants but no one can throw out... No matter the season, the clutter clouds loom on the near horizon, waiting to overtake and envelop your home.

Getting Rid of Clutter - Is It Possible? Could It Really Be Painless?

In fall, the kids are back in school and routines are somewhat settled: new sports, arts and other activities seem to fill the house with backpacks, sporting equipment, uniforms, musical instruments and all sorts of extraneous items overflowing in the back hall, and through the kitchen, collecting in the living room and gathering in the garage.

As a child growing up, I recall my mother's vain attempt to contain our school clutter: she had the builder put in a tall set of deep shelves directly across from the back door in the hallway between the kitchen and laundry room. We each got one shelf. Our books, bags and whatever other school and activity paraphernalia we required were to be on that shelf or in our rooms. In theory, it was a great plan. In practice it meant that our shelves would be loaded up with everything from laundry to books to basketballs and sneakers, until they were bursting out all over the hallway and she would demand that we remove at least some of the offending personal clutter to our rooms.

Before you slump into defeat, as all your best home organizing ideas seem to have flown out the window... And your 4th grader arrives home with yet another back pack full of papers, forms, fundraising and charity drives from school and excitedly announces that she has to build a model working volcano and requires a long list of building materials and vast amounts of poster board for the science fair...

Before you give up on the idea that this holiday your home could be a centerpiece of tranquility and calm in the world... Clean, organized and beautifully decorated for the season... Even as you swear you can hear your house crying out "Help Me Get Rid of This Clutter!" Take heart. There is a better way...

Don't blame yourself for this problem; it's not your fault. Clutter is the visible stalker of most Americans... if you don't believe me; start looking around inside people's houses!

Getting organized can sometimes seem like the impossible dream. As you search the house for that missing pair of scissors one more time; consider the incredible amounts of time you would be free to spend as you wish if you were not chasing around for missing items half the time!

It's frightening! And what's really frightening is we're all doing it. The Gallup Company in Princeton did a study that revealed that top executives in major corporations waste approximately 5 weeks a year on misplaced items!

What to do? If top-level executives can't seem to manage it, is it really possible to de-clutter your home? One solution is to hire a professional "clutter control" expert to help you. That is a solution many people have chosen. And, for many of them it has worked very well

But what if you can't afford a personal "de-clutter coach" or, worse, you simply, don't have time to figure out how to hire one, let alone go through the entire clutter control process with him or her?

Do not despair. There may yet be hope. Even for those of us who have about as much extra time as we have extra cash lying around... There is an alternative to the cluttered home you've lived with, and you'll be surprised to learn how powerful, simple and easy it is.

So how do you combat clutter effectively? How do you make your home the organized reflection of a clutter-and-stress-free life-style?

Many Americans actually de-clutter by adding new space for clutter off site! They rent storage units and fill them with the clutter that no longer fits in the home. Those lucky enough to have an unfinished attic or large garage area may find that clutter begins to invade and take over these "out-of-the-way" places in the home until they are "filled to the gills" and overflowing... This is NOT the answer!

If you want to get a serious handle on clutter before the holidays arrive and leave you lurching through them in a sea of confusion, there may be only one real answer. You need a "Master Clutter Eliminator".

Luckily for all of us, there is such a person, and she has now written a simple step by step guide that promises to have you living in a Clutter Free Home, not only for a day, not only temporarily, but actually for the rest of your life, following her simple steps.

A plan so masterful, direct and clever there is no question that this de-clutter expert has done the work none of us has had the smarts or the time to do: figured out a fast, easy and effective way to end clutter forever.

But perhaps what is most amazing of all, this elegant answer to a problem that has plagued many of us all of our lives is actually FUN to carry out. I know what you're thinking... It's possible that in my newfound freedom from clutter I've simply slipped over the edge of reason. After all, who in their right mind could think of any form of cleaning as FUN? All I can say is... You won't believe it until you experience it for yourself. Once you do, you'll be amazed at how liberated you feel.

Then you can sit back, relax, and contemplate what you're planning to do with those extra five weeks (or more!) you just won back from the clutches of cluttered living... Maybe you'll start with a long hot soak in the tub... who knows?

As the holidays approach and I find myself surrounded by a clean, organized, clutter free and inviting home, I can only marvel at the genius of this amazing woman. Cluttered confusion transforms to clarity. It feels a bit like suddenly being a member of the Marvel Comics family: "Shazam!"

"Thank You Mimi!" Your expertise was EXACTLY what I needed to finally conquer clutter!

The Ultimate Guide to Commitment Phobic Men

,
Lucid Dreaming Made Easy
Controlling Dreams :

Commitment phobic men are masters at deceptively keeping you hooked on them.

The Ultimate Guide to Commitment Phobic Men

Just about every woman has dated at least one commitment phobic man in her life. They are the ones who keep you waiting for the day they'll finally agree to live with you or marry you or commit exclusively to you. But they never do. When you meet them they are hard to resist because they compliment you and appeal to your vanity. And they lie. They lie about being in love with you, they lie about wanting to date you long term, they lie about not wanting just a sexual fling. And they don't care.

Here are examples of Commitment Phobic Male Behavior:

  • You date for one week and he tells you he loves you, the next week you never hear from him again
  • You date for a month and he tells you he only wants to date you, then you find out a friend saw him flirting at a party with someone else...the night he was too tired to go out with you
  • You live with him for 8 years and he still won't marry you
  • He still doesn't call you his girlfriend and sees his mom more than he sees you, after one year of dating

Commitment phobic men are men who cannot commit to you with the emotional intimacy of marriage or living together because they are emotionally attached to someone or something else that makes emotional intimacy with you impossible.

I know you're thinking right now, "But how can I avoid these men when I don't know if a guy is commitment phobic until after we've dated for weeks or months?

Actually, it's easy to spot a commitment phobic man when you first meet him, just by talking to him for a short period of time, before you even date him. You just need to know what behavior traits to look for. You must focus on certain signs a guy gives you that are indications of commitment phobic problems. These "red flags" are glaringly apparent when you know what they are. But even if you know what they are, you must summon the inner strength to ignore a commitment phobic man's charismatic charm, the appeal of his compliments, and your codependent desire to care for him.

Don't even give a guy like this a chance by dating him even once, if it's possible. Once you date him, he'll trap you with his bag of deceptive tricks, and manipulate you into feeling a comfortable false sense of emotional intimacy by telling you "You're the woman I've always dreamed of finding".

It's important to know the ploys and manipulative behavior of these men. They have the ability to make a woman feel a "codependent" need to take care of them by appealing to her need to feel special by taking care of others. They paint themselves as helpless victims of past love relationships, past failed jobs, and parents who abused them; and this makes a woman feel vulnerable to wanting to "fix" their lives and be the one to finally make them happy.

If you were the one in your family tending to the emotional needs of your parents or siblings, you will be easily lured into the world of a commitment phobic man. I highly suggest you read books on codependency by Melodie Beatty and learn what codependency is. It's important to know if you are susceptible to the charm of commitment phobic men due to your codependent behavioral upbringing.

Commitment phobic men hide behind a persona of charm and adulation towards women that completely camouflages how they truly feel inside. Behind the charming façade of a commitment phobic man's outer persona, is a man who wants to control, deceive and abuse women. They are unhappy with their lives and often blame a woman in their past for ruining it. Of course, this blame started with their mother, and has now transferred onto another woman in their life. But usually they don't realize the first seed of hatred towards women, and desperate neediness of them, started with their mother.

These men don't trust women, like women, respect women or admire women - they hate them. Many of these men are victims of verbal and sexual abuse as children. They have mothers who made their lives miserable, and now they will let out their anger and resentment on you.

When you first meet a commitment phobic man, he will have certain behavior traits that creep into his facade of adulation towards you. It's important to see these traits as red flags that signal how potentially disastrous dating a man like this can be. These initial behavior traits may seem innocent enough, but they are telltale signs of bigger problems to come. I call them 1st Stage Behavior Traits because this is the behavior you can detect when first meeting or dating a commitment phobic.

1st Stage Behavior Traits of Commitment Phobic Men:

Behavior Trait #1: He will single out insecure women who need attention and compliments to feel good about their life. Then he will say something to a woman that is slightly inappropriate about how sexually alluring she looks. This helps them find the woman who will put up with their problems because her self worth is tied up in someone else's opinion of her. This is the kind of woman they can control. The woman who doesn't walk away in disgust is their next victim.

Behavior Trait #2 He will keep the truth about his past life, his finances, his past relationships, his relationship with his mother, and how he truly feels about commitment from you. The real him will be well hidden from your outer view. Most commitment phobic men have deep feelings of shame about themselves and their life and they will hide that shame by doing things to cover up the truth about their life.

One commitment phobic guy I dated didn't have a decent car, so he used his mother's car to impress me, but never told me he was using her car until a month of dating him. Another guy I dated took me out to an expensive restaurant on a first blind date and constantly tipped the waiters with large bills. Then I realized on the 2nd date he really couldn't afford to be so extravagant when I saw his "down and out" apartment lifestyle. He had to give me a false impression about having lots of money, as if that one night would cloud my ability to see his dismal apartment.

There is nothing wrong with a guy wanting to impress you on a date by taking you to a nice restaurant or driving his parent's car. But there is something wrong with a guy deliberately presenting himself as someone he isn't just to keep you from knowing the real him. If he has to keep facts about his life from you, he isn't honest, regardless of the reason he's doing it. Unfortunately many women who first date commitment phobic men catch a deception, and then they make excuses for why he did it. They don't realize that once you accept any deception, you will be dealing with bigger lies and secrets to come.

Behavior trait #3: You can never have a conversation with him about what his relationship goals are. He'll act uncomfortable, and sometimes visibly annoyed. If you sense he isn't open to a future that includes the kind of commitment you are looking for from a man, don't consider dating him. Men who won't commit in relationships will show you by their facial expression and behavior, when you bring up the subject of commitment that it's one subject they don't care to discuss. You must realize he has commitment issues when he freezes up when you talk about what you are looking for in a long term relationship. And if he tells you he never wants to get married, he's doing you a big favor. Believe him and don't think you can change him, regardless of how much he tells you "you're the woman of his dreams". Don't even consider being the one who'll be that loving wife he never found. Remember this: with commitment phobic men, it's not only what they say that matters; it's their attitude about certain subjects and what you sense they are keeping from you. It's that unsettling feeling in your gut that this guy isn't being totally honest with you.

If you do continue to date a guy like this, you've accepted behavior that already sets the tone for how he'll continue to treat you, which will be all about what matters to him. Many women feel it isn't their right to talk about their relationship needs when they first meet a guy. They feel they will scare the guy away because he'll immediately think they want to marry him. Wrong! This is the time you must talk about what you want in life. If you don't tell a guy you want to get married and have kids one day, you will give up your right to expect to get it down the road as far as he's concerned. Commitment phobic men don't waste their time with women who declare confidently that they want to get married and have kids. It's the surest way to watch them disappear.

Behavior trait#4: Another surefire sign that a guy is a commitment phobic is when he will never do anything on time and will always change the time and day of your date or be late for your date. He will also never agree with your suggestion about the date. If you make a decision about the movie you want to see or the restaurant you want to go to, he will want to try a different one. If you accept this behavior, he will continue to act controlling with you, by never focusing on pleasing YOU in the relationship. Of course, you may not notice these first signs when he keeps telling you how beautiful you are and how he can't wait to make love to you. You won't be annoyed that he's always late when he flatters you all the time, right? He is setting up control in the relationship; one that gives him the right to dictate to you what the terms of the relationship will be. And those terms will not include committing to you.

Behavior trait #5: He will make you feel like the most beautiful woman on the planet. He will shower you with his desire for you and give you compliments to an extreme. He will tell you that you are the only woman who understands him, makes him feel such intense attraction, and that he knows he will fall in love with you because you are the woman of his dreams (if he isn't in love with you already). This is all to distract you from getting to know the real person behind those compliments, seeing all those deceptions and false pretenses.

Behavior trait #6: He will have a dependent personality which means he will need you to take care of him and he will only appreciate you when you do things for him. He will paint himself as a victim of life with bad luck and bad, cruel women. "Thank god he's finally found you" will be his motto. That is, until he gets bored with you and moves on to someone else. And even if he doesn't, he'll never commit to you or fulfill you emotionally. He will lump you in the pile of all those other cruel women who never understand him or care about him. And all you will feel when he moves on is how much you were used and unappreciated.

It's easy to spot a commitment phobic man when you notice these behavior traits. Usually the first behavior trait is hard to detect until you've dated him for awhile and realize the real truth about his life and his past. But the other behavior traits show up immediately: his constant barrage of compliments and making you feel like you are the woman of his dreams; his first comment to you being inappropriate about your physical appearance (or inappropriate touching); his victim mentality about past relationships; his reluctant, almost angry attitude about talking about commitment in a relationship, his constant control of how you both spend your time together by always being late and wanting to change plans and never letting you decide what to do on a date.

These behavior traits may seem harmless and insignificant, but they are red flag signs of serious trouble to come.

See the signs, and when you do, close the door on his opportunity to date you. You deserve a man who offers you so much more.

Why Are So Many of Us Struggling Financially?

,
Lucid Dreaming Made Easy
Controlling Dreams :

It is really amazing how many people are struggling financially. It's even more amazing how many believers are struggling financially. It's almost worse, in most cases. How many times have I heard, "I'll have to see if I can afford if," or, "Sorry, can't do it, I've blown the budget this week." The worry of not having enough money to pay for the mortgage, bills, fees, clothes, food, petrol etc is so evident now, not just in the world either. It's subtly crept into the church. If you say that you don't worry about those things, you're almost looked at as a weirdo or told, "That's just not being realistic." I'm so sick of it!

Why Are So Many of Us Struggling Financially?

What is supposed to be 'realistic' to every believer of Jesus Christ, is whatever is done in Heaven, shall be done on earth. Do we really think that God was in Heaven worried about not having enough money to create the earth or create human life? Do you think He had to go over His budget on the 7th day after all that work? That's just stupid. We are favored and beloved children of the most High God, our Father and King. So many of us want to try and control our money ourselves and don't even give God a second thought. We can just get in the habit of tithing because it is "the right thing to do", not even worrying with asking God about all our other money and expenses, then find ourselves in extreme debt.

Can we really let go, stop controlling our money and let God worry about it? He is supposed to be our Lord - right? He is the King of all Kings and owns everything anyway. Why then do we still worry and try to control it? God doesn't want us to be struggling and in debt! How can we bless and help others if we're worried all the time and haven't got any money? God also wants us to be debt free and totally blessed financially, and also NOT to feel guilty about it! We need to trust Him and not our bank account. We need His wisdom and direction, not our own.

"I do not have to worry, saying, "What shall I eat?" or "What shall I drink?" or "What shall I wear?" For all these the gentiles seek. For my heavenly Father knows that I need all these things. But if I seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, all these things shall be added to me. Therefore I do not have to worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about it's own things." Matthew 6:31-34)

We are not meant to worry about anything, especially that to do with money or 'things' we need. God knows what we need! We tend to put that in the back of our mind. The key is to put God first in everything, His will, and His way. He knows the very best way for our lives, every single part and detail.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Not worrying and living in His peace is real Kingdom living! We are sons and daughters of the only King, do you really think He wants us to be poor and always worried about money? Not my God! We are royalty.
